Meeting the Needs of Every Employee with a Digital Workspace

As tech continues to advance, employee expectations in the work place also progress with them. Employee's want the ability to work how they choose: anytime, anywhere, and on any device. This is why it’s more important than ever to empower every employee, no matter their role, with digital tools that give them secure and seamless access to the apps and services they need to be productive.

Lets take the "New Employee" use case as an example: For the new employee the first day, sometimes the first whole week is nothing but a waiting game. Waiting to get input into the system, for e-mail, waiting for all their hardware, software and other resources.

If the company utilizes a digital workspace such as VMware Workspace One, setup and deployment can be done significantly easier and more efficient. IT will setup the employee credentials and get them into the system. From there the employee will get an alert on their mobile device from IT to download the Workspace One digital platform.

This platform seamlessly and securely connects employees with the applications and digital resources they need to any device.  All the employee needs to do is log into the digital worskspace with the credentials IT has provided them, and just like that the employee has access to all applications and digital material the company provides, (though some material and apps may require a Workspace digital profile to access for additional security. )

What's the importance to this? It allows the Employee to utilize their personal device should they choose to use, as a work device; keeping work material completely secured and separate from the personal data on the employees device. This helps provide all employees with the same ability to access the content they need from any device of their choice, remotely from anywhere. Bonus it can be fully customizable per team or even per specific employee.
